1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the BookThing mobile application and related services (the “Service”) provided by Fairytale Applications (“BookThing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. About BookThing
BookThing is a platform that connects customers with service businesses for appointment discovery and booking. Business owners can create profiles, list services, manage schedules, and handle appointment requests. Customers can browse businesses and submit appointment requests.
BookThing is a platform, not the service provider. Unless explicitly stated, we do not perform the underlying services booked through the app (for example, haircuts, consultations, repairs). The business you book with is responsible for delivering the service.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
4. Accounts and Authentication
4.1 Account creation
You may register using email and password or sign in with Google, as made available in the app.
4.2 Email verification
We may require email verification for certain actions (such as creating a business or booking appointments). You are responsible for maintaining access to your email account.
4.3 Account security
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at bookthing@fairytaleapplications.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4.4 One identity model
A single account may act as both a customer and a business owner. You may manage multiple businesses under one account, subject to platform rules.
5. Business Owner Terms
If you create or manage a business on BookThing, you additionally agree that:
5.1 Accurate business information
You will provide accurate, current, and complete business details, including services, hours, pricing display information, and contact details.
5.2 Authority
You have the legal right and authority to offer the services listed and to bind the business to appointments accepted through the platform.
5.3 Published profiles
When you publish your business, certain information becomes visible to signed-in users, including business details, services, schedule availability, and images you upload.
5.4 Appointment handling
You are responsible for reviewing, approving, rejecting, completing, or cancelling appointments according to your policies and applicable law. BookThing provides workflow tools but does not guarantee bookings will be accepted.
5.5 Content you upload
You retain ownership of content you upload (such as images and descriptions), but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and promote the Service.
You represent that you have all rights necessary to upload and publish your content and that it does not infringe third-party rights.
5.6 Prohibited business conduct
You must not:
- list false, misleading, or illegal services
- impersonate another business or person
- upload unlawful, offensive, or infringing content
- use the platform for fraud, spam, or harassment
- circumvent booking rules or capacity limits
6. Customer Terms
If you use BookThing as a customer, you agree that:
6.1 Appointment requests
Submitting a booking request does not guarantee an appointment until the business approves it (unless otherwise stated in-app).
6.2 Accurate booking information
You will provide accurate contact details and booking notes where requested.
6.3 Attendance and cancellations
You are responsible for attending approved appointments on time and following the business’s cancellation or rescheduling policies. Repeated no-shows or abuse may result in restrictions on your account.
6.4 External navigation
Directions opened via third-party map apps are provided for convenience. We do not control third-party apps and are not responsible for their accuracy or availability.
7. Appointments, Availability, and Platform Rules
BookThing may apply platform rules such as:
- pending appointment hold periods
- daily booking limits per customer per business
- server-side validation of time slots and capacity
- appointment status workflows (pending, approved, rejected, cancelled, completed, and related states)
These rules may change as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the app or these Terms.
8. Payments
BookThing does not currently process in-app payments. Any prices shown in the app are for display and informational purposes only unless we explicitly introduce payment processing in a future update. Payment for services, if any, is handled directly between you and the business according to their policies.
If we add payment features later, additional terms will apply.
9. User Content and Conduct
You are responsible for content you submit, including business descriptions, images, and appointment notes.
You agree not to:
- violate any law or regulation
- harass, threaten, or discriminate against others
- upload malware or attempt to disrupt the Service
- scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service except as permitted by law
- create accounts through unauthorized automated means
- misuse another person’s personal information
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to the platform or other users.
10. Moderation and Enforcement
We may, at our discretion:
- suspend or terminate accounts
- unpublish or remove business profiles
- reject or cancel appointments in cases of abuse, fraud, or legal risk
- restrict features for users or businesses that violate these Terms
We are not obligated to monitor all content but may do so to protect the Service.
11. Intellectual Property
The Service, including software, design, branding, and documentation (excluding your content), is owned by [Legal Entity Name] or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal or internal business use in accordance with these Terms.
“BookThing” and related logos are our trademarks. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
12. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party infrastructure and sign-in providers (including Google Firebase and Google Sign-In). Your use of those services may be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request account deletion by emailing bookthing@fairytaleapplications.com.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or if we discontinue the Service.
Upon termination, provisions that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute sections) will survive.
17. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, in-app notice. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
