1. Introduction
Black Screen Kid Musics is an ad-free music player designed for young children, intended to be used by parents and caregivers. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the app, why we process it, and what choices you have.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use third-party advertising networks. We do not use analytics or behavioral tracking SDKs in this app.
2. Information we do NOT collect
We do not require account registration and we do not collect:
- Name, email address, or phone number through the app
- Precise location
- Contacts, photos, or camera data
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA) for ad tracking
- Social media profiles
- Knowingly collected personal information directly from children under 13 for marketing purposes
The app is not designed for children to register or provide personal details.
3. Information processed to provide the app
3.1 On-device settings and preferences
Stored locally on your device using standard on-device storage (e.g. SharedPreferences and Hive):
- Selected app language
- Display preferences (e.g. cover art on/off)
- Parental control settings
- Premium entitlement status (which features you have unlocked)
- Download/cache status for music files
This data stays on your device unless you uninstall the app or clear app data.
3.2 Music and catalog content
The app plays music and loads a content catalog. Some free content is bundled in the app. Premium content may be downloaded from Google Firebase Cloud Storage when you access unlocked categories. These requests do not include your name or account credentials; they request public or entitlement-gated content files configured by us.
3.3 Purchases and subscriptions
In-app purchases (Gold Subscription, Diamond Subscription, Premium Lifetime Unlock) are processed by Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). We do not receive or store your payment card details.
We may receive from Apple/Google, or process locally on your device:
- Product identifiers
- Purchase/receipt or transaction tokens needed to verify that you own a subscription or lifetime unlock
Optionally, purchase verification data may be sent to Firebase Cloud Functions (verifyPurchase) to validate entitlements using store-signed transaction data. We use this only to confirm access to premium content, not for advertising.
You can restore previous purchases using Restore purchases in the app.
3.4 Internet connection
An internet connection may be required to download premium content, load catalog updates, complete purchases, or restore purchases. Free bundled content can work offline after install.
3.5 Microphone permission (iOS)
The app does not record audio. iOS may list a microphone-related usage description because the audio playback library references microphone-related system APIs. The app uses audio playback only.

We do not integrate: AdMob, Facebook SDK, Unity Ads, AppLovin, Adjust, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, or similar advertising/analytics SDKs in this app.
5. Children’s privacy
Black Screen Kid Musics is a Kids category app aimed at families with young children (typically ages 0–6). The app is intended to be controlled by a parent or caregiver.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing.
- Purchases and sensitive actions are protected by a Parent Check code gate.
- We do not show behavioral advertising to children or anyone else.

6. Data retention
- On-device settings and entitlement flags are kept until you delete the app or clear its data.
- Purchase records are retained by Apple/Google according to their policies.
- We retain verification-related data only as long as needed to provide premium access and comply with law.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect data in transit (e.g. HTTPS). You are responsible for keeping your device secure and supervising your child’s use of the app.
8. Your rights and choices
- Manage subscriptions (iOS): Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
- Manage subscriptions (Android): Google Play → Subscriptions
- Restore purchases: Available in the app

9. International transfers
Firebase and store providers may process data on servers outside your country. By using the app, you acknowledge such processing may occur subject to those providers’ terms and applicable law.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at this URL and change the “Last updated” date.
